Yeey!
:)
If you'd like to know a little more about my felty world, take a peek at the interview on the Craft Britannia website
I am so touched by the lovely comments that people have left.
It really does make me feel all warm and smiley inside.
Thank you all so much!
I've been meaning to tell you all so many stories but I'm afraid all of the Pheeples have been keeping me quite busy!
Luckily today's unbelievably rainy, so they've contented themselves to snuggling up around the TV to watch as many films as physically possible.
I've supplied them with popcorn and mugs of tea, so hopefully they'll give me a few moments to tell you the duck race story!
Well... it's not really a story, just pure awesomeness! :)
hehe
Easter weekend came along, and Ooo, look what the local school are running for all the kids? A rubber ducky race!!
:D
There were 2 ways to join in, you could buy a duck and get the number of your ducky and keep your fingers crossed it wins for your prize, or you could guess the colour of the duck, and if your colour was the winner you could win a cream egg! Yuuummmm!
So of course, me and Lewis thought it was an awesome idea to go along and be the only grown ups joining in with the duck race.
:)
I guessed a purple duck would win, and Lewis guessed a black one would.
So off to the woods we go, with all the little kiddies and their duck whistles...
Please, just for a minuit imagine a mob of little kiddies with a duck whistle each.
It sounded crazy!
Anyone who didn't know what was going on would have been very confused by the explosion of quacks! hehe!
hehe, Lewis caught with his duck whistle!
They threw all of the rubber duckies in the river and off they went!
...very slowly I might add!
:)
Possibly the cutest way to spend an Easter Sunday!
:)
(I think when me and Lewis can afford to get married, we'll have to have our own rubber ducky race too!)
:)
hehe
Oh! And guess what colour duck won the race?
Purple!
Oooh yeh!
Cream egg yumminess!
:)
I hope you all had a lovely Easter - even if it was while ago now!
Stay dry folks!
