A Bit Of Music

Ahh, the radio did something awesome this morning,
and played a song that just made my face do a great big smiley thing

:)

It's so true that music and songs can take you right back to a moment or a feeling.
As soon as they played it
I was whooshed back into my room at university, all the way down by the sea side,
and whilst doing my arty crafty things this song was always on my playlist.

:)

And I just LOVE the advert

Mmm, my heart is skipping away right now
listening to this again!

Hmm, maybe I can incorporate this into my future wedding
along with the river of rubber duckies?
lol

Shop Of The Week :)

Yeey!
Rebecca's Emporium is shop of the week this week with Craft Britannia!

:)
If you'd like to know a little more about my felty world, take a peek at the interview on the Craft Britannia website

I am so touched by the lovely comments that people have left.
It really does make me feel all warm and smiley inside.
Thank you all so much!

I've been meaning to tell you all so many stories but I'm afraid all of the Pheeples have been keeping me quite busy!
Luckily today's unbelievably rainy, so they've contented themselves to snuggling up around the TV to watch as many films as physically possible.
I've supplied them with popcorn and mugs of tea, so hopefully they'll give me a few moments to tell you the duck race story!

Well... it's not really a story, just pure awesomeness! :)
hehe

Easter weekend came along, and Ooo, look what the local school are running for all the kids? A rubber ducky race!!
:D
There were 2 ways to join in, you could buy a duck and get the number of your ducky and keep your fingers crossed it wins for your prize, or you could guess the colour of the duck, and if your colour was the winner you could win a cream egg! Yuuummmm!

So of course, me and Lewis thought it was an awesome idea to go along and be the only grown ups joining in with the duck race.
:)
I guessed a purple duck would win, and Lewis guessed a black one would.
So off to the woods we go, with all the little kiddies and their duck whistles...

Please, just for a minuit imagine a mob of little kiddies with a duck whistle each.
It sounded crazy!
Anyone who didn't know what was going on would have been very confused by the explosion of quacks! hehe!

hehe, Lewis caught with his duck whistle!

They threw all of the rubber duckies in the river and off they went!
...very slowly I might add!
:)

Possibly the cutest way to spend an Easter Sunday!

:)

(I think when me and Lewis can afford to get married, we'll have to have our own rubber ducky race too!)

:)
hehe

Oh! And guess what colour duck won the race?
Purple!
Oooh yeh!

Cream egg yumminess!

:)

I hope you all had a lovely Easter - even if it was while ago now!
Stay dry folks!

This will be a competition that will run on my facebook page
but any comments written on this blog post will also be counted.

Help to create a new name for these cute little felted characters!

What would you call these cute little guys?

* Each name posted will count as one entry. An extra entry will be counted for each share (please include the link of your share).

* A maximum of 3 names are allowed to be entered from each person.
* To have a greater chance getting your name chosen, try to choose a name that is as unique as possible - feel free to check before hand to see if the name has already been taken.

* The closing date will be in a week's time on Sunday 8th April at midnight!

The winning name, chosen by myself, will be used to describe these little characters and the winner will get their very own little felt character themselves!
You will be able to choose your own colour combination and you will be able to choose from these 4 additional attributes : a party hat, a heart button, a ribbon flower or a pair of glasses.
