Freedom!

Something very special happened at the weekend!

Cat was released into the wild!!

:)

Bless her little cotton white feet, she's been oogling the outside world for so long now. She's even ran at the window and didn't quite manage to stop on more than one occasion when she saw a little birdy outside.

So, on Saturday 26th June 2012
the back door was opened
and left open!

*dun dun dun*

Apparently it took her about 2 and a half hours to pluck up the courage to venture out, but once she did...

... I don't think the world was quite ready for Cat!
lol

and of course, when the mean little dog next door starts to bark like crazy, the empty paint bucket is the safest place to be!

:)

Darrw!

Bless her.
And for the whole of Sunday she slept... and slept... and slept
:)

A very exhausting day for Cat,
but she is a free cat now.

I'm so proud of her!

Even if she hasn't quite figured out what those massive pigeons are yet.
They're about the same size as her!
I don't blame her for being cautious, I had images of her trying to jump on one and then it flying off with her on its back!

But that hasn't happened yet!
Fewf!

:)

In other news...

I'm taking the Pheeples to their very first craft fair!
:)

They're very excited!
It's a vintage/craft fair in Shalford on 23rd June!
It would be lovely to see some Pheeple fans there!

Summer Fairs!

Arr, it's definitely that time of year isn't it?
There's Summer Fairs, garden parties and all sorts happening!
And the sun's come back to us now, so it's even more fun!

:)

Me and Lewis went to a lovely Summer Show in Merrist Wood
It was full of so many things to do, and animals to see, and plenty of craft tents
:)
Just my kinda place!

And guess who else had a stall there?

Joseph Lloyds

Mmmm, the food looked amazing!

And it was all free samples!!

Don't forget to check out their facebook page too, to keep up to date with new goings on!

Mmm, so after filling up on lots of yumminess, guess what Lewis then wanted to go and do?

....

... lol,
Boys!

:)

It was an awesome day though!
What Summer Fairs are you going to this year?

:)

Oooo, p.s. Unfortunately I didn't get sent any photos of mice going to work on Tuesday, so I couldn't post a Bring Your Mouse To Work Day Tuesday. Fingers crossed more meeces will be up for adventures next week!

A Happy Day!

:)

Eeeey
I can't help it today, I'm just oh so smiley.
I think I've caught the happy bug

:)

The train journey was pretty normal this morning, I made another Pheeple and finished off another little felt mouse.

(The Pheeples are loving all of these new mice to play with).

Breakfast at work started with a chocolate Bounty and a coffee, which has to be the best way to start the day, and then... the postman came.... !!!

Eeeeey! Just look at him!
I need to figure out what his name is, but I am so in love with him!
He came all the way from

kittypinkstars

and as soon as he poked his little fluffy head out of the lovely bag he came in, I just had to give him a massive squdge!
I've got a feeling I might have scared him a bit, but I introduced him to my little felt mice and gave him some choc cake, and he seems much more at home now.
He came with a little card too that said
"Today.. lets just have fun"

:)

and inspired by that, I've booked a week off holiday and plan to go on many adventures!

ahhh, he's just filled me with fluffy happiness!

Ooo, and I got such a wonderful collection of gorgeous stickers with my parcel too.
I can't wait to go crazy and decorate everything with them!

mmmm
good day

I hope you all had a lovely day too

Bring Your Mouse To Work Day!

Yep,
inspired by a lovely lady on my facebook, I have decided that Tuesdays will now be
Bring Your Mouse To Work Day!

:)

(Not real mice of course - unless they are very safe from harm)

Today I have a little friend who insisted on coming to work with me!

I think it's secretly because he knew that there was a Pheeple on my desk already. The little felty mice seem to be ever so slightly infatuated with the Pheeple.
I'm not sure why though.
:)

So, every Tuesday, I am going to bring a little mousey into work with me and make a lovely post here to show off what they're up to.
And feel free to join in!
Send me pics of your little crafty mice at work with you, and then I'll put them all in a lovely post together so that they can say hi to each other.
:)

Get your little crafty meeces ready for next Tuesday and we can have a mass mouse party!

(You can post pics of your mice on my facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/RebeccasEmporium
or to my email: bringyourmouse2work@hotmail.co.uk )

Yeey, I can't wait to see your little mice!

A New Box For Me!

There is a new addition to my Emporium today,
organisation!
In the form of a beautiful box

Me and Lewis went for a little trip to a few car boot sales this morning.
The first one was a bit... well, I think there must have been a total of 5 cars there.
But we carried on with our adventure to the next one and we found loads of gorgeous things!

The sun was beautiful today, and somehow Lewis read my mind and suggested going to some car boot sales.
( I have no idea how he does it! )

We spotted a stall with some lovely hand made boxes that the guy had made from recycled pieces and I couldn't resist having a nosey at them.
Of course we did the whole 'lets have a look around first, and then come back later'.
There were some lovely stalls with old sewing machines and brooches, and Lewis managed to find a stall with guns!
Typical.

But I did manage to wiggle my way back to that first stall,
and Lewis offered to buy me the box!
:)

Yay!
So we tottled back home with a great big box for me, and Lewis bought himself a guitar tab book for 10p.
I'm feeling a bit guilty now, so I'll have to buy him a present too next time.

... and can you guess what I'm using my lovely new box for?

...

hehe

Ooodles of felt!

Cat is pleased with the new box
