I've been munching on a little fruit mix tub, crackers and chutney, cheesy crackers with nuts and a hot cross bun fruit and nut mix!

A Yummy Tuesday!

My lovely Lewis is the loveliest man ever!!

I was told a couple of days ago that I would be getting something in the post at work today.

Eeey!

but he wouldn't tell me what it was.

hmmmf.

But look what arrived today!

 mmmmmmmmmmm

There was a little tub of gorgeous olives with basil and garlic,

a little tube of herby crackery rice cakes and peanuts,

a little tub of 3 mini flap jacks

and another little tub labelled "Lemon Meringue Pie"

mmmm

tiny little meringues, lemon sultanas and yoghurt covered peanuts

*swoon*

and apparently I'll be getting one every Tuesday and Thursday!

Monday!

Howdy all!

It's Mondaaaaaay!

So how was all of your lovely weekends?

Ooo, and a belated Happy Mother's day for all of you mummies out there!

I treated my mummy to a homemade felty card and some utterly gorgeous flowers from ffflowers

Yep, that's who these beautiful little creations were for, the secrets out!

and I'm glad to report that she loved them very much!

It was such a lovely day. I got to visit my nan and gramma and give them hugs and hear stories about the war and things. It really was lovely! (Even if the public transport was abysmal that day!! - but still, walking's good for you right?)

On another note, a little more felty this time, I have loads more felty goodies to show you all!

...unfortunately I left my camera at home today, but hay, I WILL show you tomorrow, when I WILL remember to bring it with me

There are rings, bunnies, earrings, a necklace and a few more Feeps on the way!

Oh yes, but these are no ordinary Feeps, these are new Feeps!

I spotted them the other day playing around with something, and when I went over to make sure they weren't stealing any sweeties from the sweet tin, I found that they'd actually found something quite useful.

Apparently the eyes that I had given them didn't allow them to see everything all at once, which they weren't happy about at all, and they'd gone and found some even better eyes to replace them.

I have to admit, they are quite lovely.

I set about replacing them for the little Feeps, at their request! Don't fear! There was no forced eye transplant involved.

And here they are...

I've been a little obsessed with this blog it seems!

I had a little makey moment at work this morning and fished out an old 2009 diary from my draw (I don't know why I have a 2009 diary in my draw... one of the many random objects that has taken refuge in there!)

and thanks to Sophie's wonderful tutorial, I turned it into a pretty sketchbook/scrapbook for all of my little budding felty ideas!

I know it's already printed on, it being a diary an' all, but I really love that sketching over words look, so it totally suits my style, AND it recycles!

A definite plus!

I just used a very pretty artist's catalogue that came through the post for me and my oober groovy decorational scissors from HappyMemory!

Perfect!

A Day By The Sea

Yesterday was such a lovely day!

I've been missing the sea for ages, so guess where me and Lewis went to on our day off together?

Brighton!

and why is it that holidays seem to all be about food?

hehe

There was a trip to the lovely cupcake shop, choccy woccy doo dah, fish and chips and of course a beer on the pier!

Unfortunately the smoked fish shop was closed though

:(

mmmmmm, that cake was amazing!

Lime and courgette! I had a lemongrass tea with it and would go all the way back to Brighton just to have it again!

Mmmm *sigh* maybe I'll be able to get Lewis to come with me again soon, he had a whale of a time!

This Weekend...

Guess what I was up to this weekend?

hehe, a really pathetic attempt at making peppermint creams!

I know all of you wonderful bakers out there will laugh at my attempt, but I had so much fun, turning back into a child again, I don't think I'd notice anyone laughing in the background...
